Professional practice is a mandatory component of the educational training program. Students are sent to practice within the time limits set by the educational program and the academic calendar.
The practice programs are designed taking into account the profile of the OP, the nature of the enterprise, institution, organization-the object of practice. The professional practice program is coordinated with enterprises (institutions, organizations) defined as practice bases and approved by the head of the educational institution. In accordance with the «Rules for the organization of dual education», approved by Order No. 50 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 21, 2016, the department provides theoretical training at a university and industrial training at enterprises. This is achieved by increasing the practical component of the educational process and conducting classes directly at the workplace. Due to the increased role of practical training, future specialists master production skills at the training stage.

The department conducts joint research work with leading specialized departments of the Moscow State University of Food Production, Odessa National Academy of Food Technology, Kiev National Technological University, Osh Technological University, M.H.Dulati Taraz State University, S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, M. O. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University and others.
Graduates of the department "Technology of bread products and processing industries" successfully work as managers and specialists of large, medium and small enterprises of food and processing industry, are engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities, master innovative technologies in practice, develop and implement in production of competitive food products of new generation.
